The A Walk in the Woods Lap Quilt celebrates the peace and beauty that can be found in nature. Subtle colours, beautiful appliqué and simple flying geese patchwork embrace the beauty of nature even on those overcast rainy days.

This quilt contains a heart themed appliqué block pattern from the ‘For the Love of Baltimore Book’ which is made using the quick and easy fusible appliqué method. 
Surrounding the beautiful Baltimore Blocks is the quick and easy Flying Geese Blocks border which is in delightful accordance with the natural theme of the quilt and fabrics.

The kit consists of 2m40 of 100% cotton quilting grade fabric from the ‘Shinrin Yoku’ fabric range by Lewis and Irene for Top and Binding of the ‘A Walk in the Woods Lap Quilt’ (backing and wadding NOT included) and the A Walk in the Woods Lap Quilt Pattern.

The pattern includes:
•    Step by step Instructions for the fusible appliqué block including hints and tips for machine satin stitching the edges.
•    Instructions for the flying geese border and quilt construction including diagrams where necessary.
•    Full sized and ready to use appliqué patterns (broken down & placement) – no need to resize or reverse.
