Our Latest News
We've finally moved! It happened really quickly and we're still trying to find our feet - thankfully we've now signed the dotted line for new business premises and have started to move in.
We are still selling patterns and kits on this website, or you can purchase some of our patterns digitally on our Etsy store .
The quilting service is of course on hold right now (our lovely Gammill's are having a Christmas Break) but we'll start up again in the New Year - watch this space! In the mean time - for information on the service please go to our Quilting Service Page.
Have questions about our move and what it'll mean for Quilter's Trading Post moving forward?
I'll see if I can answer a few.....
We have re-located to Corby in Northamptonshire (see the contact page for our new address) - and will continue running our business from our new premises once we are all set up.
Our 'fabric shop' will not re-open in our new unit - for those of you who don't know, we closed as a fabric shop before lockdown (thank goodness, or we'd probably be out of business now). But we hope to still have a little display of our Patterns and Books, and what other bits and pieces we have available.
We will continue to design and sell our patterns, book and kits online, at shows (so far we are booked for Festival of Quilts 2025 and hope to add a couple more shows in 2025).
Contrary to our previous plans, we are going to continue with the Long-Arm Quilting Service with us - yayy! We will let you know when the service will be up and runnning again once we get those machines back to work in January 2025 - we will accept quilting through the post if it's too far for a visit.
We have loved being up in the beauty of Cheshire and Shropshire, but it's now time to cut costs and move closer to family.
A big Thank You to everyone who has supported us over the last 17+ years. I'm not sure we ever thought we'd make it this far, and we're now excited to be starting our next chapter.
We'll keep you posted!
